Pythons Direct

Pythons Direct, LLC ™ provides new and exciting Ball Python mutations to hobbyists around the world. Pythons Direct is run and owned by me, Alec Holmes. I am a reptile breeder based out of the Chicagoland area. I make a living sharing my experiences with these amazing animals, which I love! It is truly a dream come true to create new and beautiful snakes each and every year. As I continue to grow I want to maintain my same level of interaction with my animals and help my customers enjoy their collection as much as I enjoy mine. It is very important to me that customers have a positive experience keeping and breeding their pythons.

From Hobby to Profession

I have been fascinated with reptiles for as long as I can remember. Back in 2001 I acquired my first ball python. It wasn’t until 2007, after keeping many species of snakes, that I was introduced to captive breeding as a profession. Soon thereafter, I decided that it was time to try out breeding and successfully produced both Ball Pythons and Columbian Red Tail Boa Constrictors my first season in 2008. As soon as I slit my first egg and a mojave ball python’s head popped out, I knew I was forever hooked. I am looking forward to a long and exciting future of working with these animals and the many people who share my same passion for pythons.
